DiDonato Associates performed a condition study on the exterior portions of the Williamsville Tower Condominiums, an 8-story structure that was built in the mid-1960s. The field survey consisted of an inspection of all exterior building components including, but not limited to, the exterior precast panels on the columns and balconies, balcony railings, stone veneer, glass partition panels and joint and window caulking. The condition inspection documented a number of deficiencies on the existing structure. DiDonato provided design for the repair of the deficiencies as well as inspection services during the construction phase. The work included miscellaneous external concrete repairs, re-caulking of exterior joints, repair balcony railings, and covering the exterior of the building with a waterproof coating to provide better protection from the elements. |
