Erie County Emergency Services Training and Operations Center Complex
Client: Erie County Department of Public Works

DiDonato performed an emergency structural and safety inspection of three (3) existing structures at 3359 Broadway in the Town of Cheektowaga.  The structures are used for live fire training, and are located on the Emergency Services Training & Operations Center Complex.   The three facilities include: a seven-story tower facility built in the late 1970’s constructed of reinforced concrete; a smokehouse with two levels, constructed in the late 1970’s with reinforced concrete; and a two-story live burn facility that was constructed in the 1990’s and consists of fire retardant panels with steel structural framing.  DiDonato performed an inspection of all three buildings and provided a report with recommendations of structural and safety repairs needed to maintain a safe training facility.
