The Maryvale Central School Project is a $30 million capital improvement project involving: the renovation of the entire High School, including an 8-lane natatorium addition and significant site work; Middle/Intermediate School renovations; Stadium improvements consisting of additional seating and a new press box; North Hill Elementary building masonry repairs and emergency lighting; and Community Education roof repair. |

Buffalo School 66 – North Park Academy

This $8.5 million project was the one of the first of the Buffalo Schools to be approved by the State Education Department, and was the first building to be occupied by students in Phase I of the District’s $1 billion renovation project. This project included full evaluation and re-programming of the existing facility to redesign up to current day standards in addition to providing new specialized spaces such as Science Labs, Home and Careers, Art, Clinic, and Library/Media Center spaces. |

| The original heating, electric and plumbing systems were replaced and a new state-of-the-art data and media network were added to enhance the educational opportunities afforded to the students.
In addition to serving as lead design consultant, DiDonato was instrumental in convincing the State to increase the Maximum Cost Allowance for construction for the project by over 35% from its original $6.2 million budget helping to ensure that full reconstruction could be undertaken and that the building would be properly outfitted to meet the challenges of education in the 21st century. |

Buffalo Schools Handicapped Access

DiDonato was the prime consultant in charge of architectural and structural design for the renovation work to 4 school buildings to provide handicapped accessibility to all program areas. Primary focus of work was toilet room renovations, and construction of additions to three of the buildings for elevator and handicapped entrances. |

DiDonato was chosen to provide engineering services for a variety of projects at the Buffalo State College campus. These projects included exterior stairway restoration; elevator modifications; structural modification; interior renovations; door replacement; feasibility studies; roadway and parking lot reconstruction; roof replacement; site accessibility; and steam tunnel repair. |

DiDonato Associates provided complete structural design services for a new 3-story college apartment facility called The Village – College Suites at NCCC. The facility is a wood-frame structure with a conventional concrete foundation system. Located on the beautiful 287-acre rural campus of Niagara County Community College, College Suites provides for the ultimate in student housing with private, fully-wired, fully-furnished bedrooms, kitchens and apartment-style living spaces. |

| Niagara University - Dwyer Arena Improvements | |

DiDonato Associates provided design services to Niagara University for the last of three planned improvements to the Dwyer Ice Arena. The $2 million project, consisted of the conversion of an existing concourse area into a party suite facility and a private Presidential Suite. This work included the construction of an additional seating area, concession stands, and storage facilities. DiDonato also assisted the team in the overall planning of the project utilizing our extensive experience in stadium/sport facility renovation projects.
