New ProjectsBuffalo Municipal Housing Authority, Various Improvements
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - State University Construction Fund – Buffalo State College Exterior Rehabilitation DiDonato Associates was selected to provide design and construction administration services for the exterior rehabilitation of various buildings at Buffalo State College. The exterior building shells of several buildings on the Buffalo State campus are in poor condition and in need of repair/replacement. The existing deficient condition of various building windows also needs to be addressed. Remediation is necessary to maintain a water-tight exterior and improve energy efficiency and operational use. The scope of work will include the testing/review/analysis of the existing exterior wall conditions at Rockwell Hall, Ketchum Hall, Theatre Arts, Bacon Hall, Upton Hall, Southwing, and Twin Rise buildings and work to remediate inadequate conditions. Replacement and repair of exterior masonry and window replacement are the primary components of this work. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - New York State Thruway Authority – Construction Inspection Services for the New State Police Headquarters at Exit 51 DiDonato Associates is providing CI services for the construction of a new State Police Zone Headquarters building at Interchange 51 in Buffalo. The new building area is approximately 14,600 sf. Employee NewsMr. Christopher Gardner has received his NYS Professional Engineering license. Mr. Gardner has 17 years of experience in design, construction inspection, and materials testing, with an in-depth knowledge of airport design, hydraulics, and concrete and soils. In addition, he is responsible for providing detailed construction cost estimates in conjunction with many of DiDonato's design projects. Mr. Frank Sandarelli recently completed his training as a NYS Code Enforcement Officer. Mr. Sandarelli has 30 years of experience providing construction services for a variety of municipal and educational projects throughout Western New York. Through this experience, he has been exposed to many aspects involved in construction projects including administration, supervision, estimating, scheduling, surveying, carpentry, masonry, concrete flatwork, excavation, demolition, site work, steel erection, equipment operation, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC.
